How can we call the plugin installed to theme?

Following steps are used to call the plugin:

1.Call the plugin in template files with the help of following   function:

        <?php echo do_shortcode('[shortcode]'); ?>

               OR

2.Put the shortcode to post/page:

        [shortcode]
